We are proud to announce that DisProt has been selected as one of the ELIXIR Deposition Databases (EDD) in the latest ELIXIR evaluation round. An ELIXIR Deposition Database is defined as being part of the ELIXIR Node portfolio of services that accepts deposition of experimental data from an international community of researchers beyond the funding envelope of the database itself. A full list of EDD is available here.

DisProt is a key resource for intrinsically disordered proteins (https://disprot.org/). Over the past year, we have redesigned the DisProt deposition page (https://deposition.disprot.org/), enabling external users to submit publications describing disordered structural states and their biological functions.

This recognition further strengthens DisProt’s role within the ELIXIR ecosystem and its contribution to the broader landscape of life science data resources. We encourage researchers working on IDPs to submit their publications and contribute to the DisProt knowledge base.
